Originally from Minnesota, Tim Crowley—better known to many as “The Bug Boss”—has called Virginia Beach home since 1989. Over the years, Tim has built a diverse and accomplished career spanning television media production and executive management, film, marketing, digital media development, event production, on-camera industrial work, nonprofit development, global humanitarian disaster relief, and real estate.
He also helped develop and grow a company that became the largest supplier of feeder insects in the United States, serving many of the nation’s major pet retailers—hence the nickname.
With three of his four children working in the performance world, Tim is thrilled to have come “full circle,” returning to the entertainment sector as a founder of Full Circle Productions, Inc. His passion for storytelling, community-building, and creative collaboration drives his commitment to establishing a vibrant platform for local artists in Hampton Roads.
If he has any free time you can find him on the beach playing volleyball, or not find him because he has disappeared for a month into the wilderness somewhere to make sure he stays connected to what matters.
