Allan Decipulo is a multifaceted musical director, pianist, accompanist, and vocal coach recognized for his artistry, versatility, and collaborative leadership. With a B.A. in Piano Performance from Radford University and membership in AFM Local 125, he has served as a musical director and pit musician for Virginia Musical Theatre since 2014 while also holding long-standing roles with Virginia Beach Christian Church and the Coastal Broadway Collaborative. Allan has extensive experience accompanying auditions, directing rehearsals, teaching musical theatre technique, and supporting creative teams across regional theatre, educational programs, and professional performance organizations.

For a decade, Allan was a cornerstone of The Governor’s School for the Arts Musical Theatre Department, where he taught audition technique, repertoire development, theory, and storytelling while directing mainstage productions, cabarets, and international tours. His freelance credits include work with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, national Broadway intensives, casting offices, and numerous performing arts institutions in New York, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. Known for his supportive teaching style, quick turnaround rehearsal skills, and professional musicianship, Allan continues to champion young artists and deliver high-quality musical experiences across the region.
